Wolf and Tree
In this exhibition I will contribute with a pair of two new drawings Wolf and Tree nr 1 and 2 measuring 86 cm x 30 cm each.
(Detail of nr 1 in picture)
The pencil drawing is on Japanese Washi paper inlaid with gold sparkles which I acquired while on a study trip to Japan earlier this year. With these drawings I wish to reflect on the precarious situation of the wolfs in the north, especially in Norway due to new political actions wishing to hunt them. Wolfs are sentient beings which holds an important role in upholding balance and keeping its surroundings strong with its presence.
