Tegning Nå at Spriten Kunsthall in Skien
The group exhibition of 13 artists at Spriten Kunsthall focused on contemporary drawing. Curatert av Catrine Orr Danielsen og Tom-Erik Lønnerød at Spriten Kunsthall.
I chose to create a series of five drawings titled Nanuq Polynia: Nanuq Polynia is a series of five drawings that explore the animals living in the borderline of ice and water in the arctic. Nanuq is Inuit for polar bear and Polynia, which derives from Russian, is a large area of open water surrounded by sea ice. By drawing and observing animals I wish to meditate on and investigate the shamanistic bond between animal, nature and human. |
