Siedi - Tupilaq and Transteinen at Vadsø Kunstforening

Siedi - Tupilaq and Transteinen is a solo exhibition at Vadsø Kunstforening in Vadsø, Norway.
​I created new work in drawing and goldleaf and showed lithography, artist book and drawings. 
Many of the works, such as Tupilaq and Reindeer and tree, I began when I had a residency in Vadsø in 2015.

​Performance "Conversation With Rock" At Ceavccageađge/Transteinen By Katarina Skår Lisa

​In conjunction with my exhibition at Vadsø Kunstforening 7-22 april, where I am investigating the spiritual in art with my drawings about the sacred rocks Ceavccageađge / Transteinen and Áhkánjárstábba / Stalloen in Finnmark, I invited Katarina Skår Lisa to collaborate on creating a performance at Transteinen and Thale Fastvold to make a brew with herbs from Finnmark and Greece to be served to the public and I presented, and read from, my artist book Crepuscular. 
Since the spring snow was deep and porous we had to carefully ski down to the Transteinen to see the performance.
The event was generously hosted by the Varanger Sami Museum.  Performance costume by Oscar Eriksson Furunes.
